The Cardo Packtalk Custom/Neo 2nd Helmet Kit (Manufacturer Part # ACC00015) is an accessory pack that contains a complete cradle, speaker, and microphone setup, allowing you to share a single Packtalk unit across two different helmets.
Essential Kit Components
The package contains everything needed to outfit a secondary helmet:
- 40mm HD Speakers: Standard 40mm high-definition audio drivers engineered by Cardo.
- Interchangeable Microphones: Includes both a hybrid boom microphone (for open-face or modular helmets) and a wired microphone (for full-face helmets).
- Helmet Mounting Cradle: The base plate system equipped with a secure snap-in mechanism for fast device transitions.
- Installation Hardware: Includes all necessary hook-and-loop velcro pads, glue plates, and cleaning wipes.
Performance & Compatibility
- Unit Compatibility: Form-fitted for the Cardo Packtalk Neo and Cardo Packtalk Custom mesh communicators. It does not natively fit the magnetic mount of the Packtalk Edge or Pro series.
- Helmet Types: Universally compatible with full-face, modular, and open-face styles. It is not designed to fit half-shell helmets.
- The Audio Variance: This basic version features Cardo’s default 40mm HD speakers. If your Packtalk unit utilizes premium audio tuning, you may want to look specifically for the Packtalk Neo 2nd Helmet Kit – Sound by JBL variant to preserve that acoustic profile.
