The SHOEI X-15 Orochi (designated as the TC-10 graphic variant) is a striking premium graphic scheme built on SHOEI’s flagship racing platform, the X-Fifteen (X-15). Released in mid-2026, the graphic design is heavily infused with traditional Japanese themes and aesthetics.
Design Concept & Visuals
The Orochi graphic is deeply inspired by Yamata-no-Orochi, the legendary eight-headed serpent of Japanese mythology.
- The Artwork: It showcases a powerful, aggressive silhouette of the mythical giant snake interwoven with the legendary Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi sword and elements reminiscent of the god Susanoo.
- Finish & Details: The helmet is finished in a Black and Blue/Purple colorway accented by a mysterious shine that mimics traditional mother-of-pearl inlay art (raden), allowing the details to catch the light beautifully on the road or track.
Premium Racing Specifications
Because it is a graphic variant of the standard X-Fifteen, it shares the exact top-tier track and race-grade features:
- Aerodynamics: Optimized in MotoGP wind tunnels to offer complete high-speed stability at speeds exceeding 350 km/h. It cuts lift by 1.6% and reduces drag by 6.1% compared to the older X-Fourteen.
- Vision Field: Built with an eye-port raised by 5 mm, expanding your upper vertical field of view to keep sightlines clear when you are fully tucked into a racing position.
- Visor & Shield: Equipped with the racing-focused CWR-F2R shield system. It features a center-locking button alongside a secondary mechanical racing lock and trigger lock mechanism to stop the visor from detaching during a high-speed crash.
- Ventilation: Incorporates 7 closable intake vents and 6 exhaust ports, routing air through internal EPS cooling channels that are 1.5x deeper than its predecessor for maximal heat extraction.
- Safety & Shell: Utilizes the proprietary 6-ply AIM+ matrix shell (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus), passing global ECE 22.06, Snell, and DOT certifications. It also features the Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.) for safe cheek pad removal by medical staff.
